Quick and Easy Banana Pudding

This quick and easy banana pudding recipe is one of my favorite desserts.  It’s perfect for a party dessert or family get-together.

I promise if you make this banana pudding everyone will love it.  Make sure you have plenty for everyone because it will go fast.

My grandma and mom got me hooked on this pudding as a kid, and it’s one of the first desserts I ever made.

It’s super easy and doesn’t cost much to make.

Quick & Easy Banana Pudding

This banana pudding recipe is perfect for any party or get-together. It's quick and easy to make.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Refrigeration Time 30 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes

  • 1 13" x 9" Pan or Similar Dish
  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Rubber Spatula


  • 3 boxes Vanilla Instant Pudding
  • 6 cups Cold Milk
  • 1 box Vanilla Wafers
  • 1 bowl Whipped Topping
  • 4 Medium Bananas


  • Cut the bananas into thin slices and set aside.
  • In a 13" x 9" pan, layer the bottom of the pan with vanilla wafers.
  • On top of the wafers, add a layer of banana slices.
  • Repeat layering of wafers and bananas until all bananas are used, ending with wafers on the top layer.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the instant pudding mix.
  • Mix in 6 cups of cold milk. Continue mixing with a whisk for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the pudding mixture over the wafers and bananas evenly.
  • Top with whipped topping.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for the perfect consistency.
